Community Conversation is a brand new project being launched by Whiteinch Centre. The aim of the project is to create an open dialogue between the centre and its community to enable the identification of problems and work towards solutions. Community Conversation will be a supportive and inclusive space in which the community can contribute towards the development and growth of the centre to assist in meeting the ongoing needs of the community.
The project will be split into blocks of three sessions; discussion, action and review. It is our hope that representatives of the community will come along to one of the sessions or even a full block. There will be roughly 6 weeks between each session. Discussion will be very much led by the community but some potential areas of discussion may include;
Activities and services provided by Whiteinch Centre
Support for mental health
Funding available for groups
If you have an opinion, would like to see certain changes or simply want your voice heard, we'd like to invite you to come along to our first Community Conversation on Tuesday 23rd October from 3 - 5pm. The session will be held in the Conference Room.
Spaces are limited so please email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your space.
