The kids have had an absolute blast over the last 6 weeks during our Kids Summer Programme. The programme ran from 9th July until 14th Aug and was jam packed with some amazing sessions such as Big Top Circus Skills, Halo Arts Drama, Sports Sessions, an outing to People’s Palace, IT sessions and a motorised Lego building workshop.
We always love to hear your feedback; it not only gives us great ideas for future projects but also lets us know what you enjoyed. Thank to everyone who took the time to fill out a feedback card, it's very much appreciated!
"Whiteinch Centre is really good place for kids, parents and other people too. I really enjoy it here all the time. The kids are busy in activities and it's good for them that they are learning more and more things."
"I had a great day today going to the people’s palace. I enjoyed eating outside, I also liked the arts & crafts and exploring the garden . I enjoyed going to the people's palace and I liked the park I wish I could go again. My favourite was going to the park, the slides were really high and fun. Today was the best day ever."
We'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who took part; Halo Arts, Big Top Circus, Charlene from DRC Youth Project who ran the Sports Sessions and Danielle who ran the I.T. Sessions and everyone else who volunteered and gave up their time to take part. We'd also like to thank the funders who made the summer programme possible, we couldn't of done this without you! Big thanks to Cash for Kids, Whiteinch and Scotstoun Housing Association and Hugh Frazer Foundation.
We hope you all had a fantastic summer, we certainly enjoyed sharing it with you!
