First and foremost, we would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who took part in our Surveys. In total we received 123 responses. After sifting through all the information and reading your responses, we thought it would be a good idea to address some of the key findings with you all. Change doesn’t happen overnight, but we are committed to improving Whiteinch Centre services and ensuring that the centre is a vibrant, inclusive and engaging place to be.
We received over 100 recommendations for new classes and activities. Overall the most popular suggestions, included fitness/exercise classes, arts/creative classes and more kids/youth classes. We want to make sure that we are providing the Whiteinch Centre community with an inclusive, varied and exciting programme of classes and activities. It is our intention to work towards improving our schedule to incorporate more of the above classes into our programme.
If you have an idea that you’d like to turn into a reality, remember that you can start up your own club or class at the centre. If you’d like to discuss your ideas with someone you can talk things through with our volunteer coordinator, Aily. Pop in and say hello or drop her an email at email@example.com.
A number of respondents suggested cooking and baking classes, unfortunately this is not something that Whiteinch Centre itself can accommodate.
28.6% of respondents felt unaware of what’s on at Whiteinch Centre. We try our upmost to reach everyone in the Whiteinch Centre Community, however we are determined to reach those who do not feel well informed! Here are ways in which you can stay up to date and never miss an update;
A large proportion of respondents learnt of Whiteinch Centre classes and activities through word of mouth for example through a friend or family member, from the local area or through instructors and group leaders. Word of mouth is really important to us because at its core word of mouth is made up of people's thought and opinions. So, if you like what we do – tell someone and let them know about us and if there is something you think we could do better, let us know!
