Whiteinch Out of School Project (WOSP) Play Worker

We are seeking a Play Worker to join our existing team providing an out of school care service for children aged 4-12, up to 30 per session in our Care Inspectorate registered service, Whiteinch Out of School Care Project. The post is 15 hours per week worked 3.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. Monday to Friday. 

The individual will provide development through interaction using a wide range of games and activities, including arts, crafts, games, sports, drama and music (taking into account their developmental stages). 

Candidates must have, or be willing to work towards, one of the Scottish Social Services Council required qualifications such as SVQ 3 Playwork at SCQF Level 7, HNC Early Education and Childcare (at SCQF level 7), or SVQ Social Services Children and Young People at SCQF Level 7 and must be able to evidence direct experience of working with children in the 4-12 age group in a daycare environment.
