To book space in the Centre, please check availability with Anne Russell (Centre Administrator) at 0141 950 4434 or by email to reception@whiteinchcentre.org.uk.
The Whiteinch Centre is available for rental throughout the week, and is used regularly by local agencies and private individuals for meetings, conferences, training courses, support groups; sports and leisure activities and private parties. Listed below are our facilities:
- Main Hall - The Main Hall has a capacity of 150 people. The hall is regularly used for conferences, sports, private parties and weddings. Full audio-visual system. Optional stage, seating and tables.
- Medwyn Room - The Medwyn Room has a capacity of 30 people. This room can be set up as a boardroom if needed and is used for meetings, children’s groups, yoga and support groups.
- Inchlee Room - The Inchlee Room has a capacity of 15 people. This room can be joined up with the Medwyn Room, to create a larger space. Inchlee is used for meetings and training.
- Conference Suite - The Conference Suite is owned by Whiteinch and Scotstoun Housing Association and is available to rent through the Centre. It has a capacity of 25 people and also houses a small kitchen. The room is of a very high standard and is used exclusively for conferences and training.
- IT Suite - The IT Room in the Centre contains 14 PCs, all installed with Microsoft Office 2003 and Adobe Photoshop Elements.
- Art Room - This room will hold up to 12 adults and is equipped with supplies for different kinds of art and craft activities.
- Quarry Knowe Room - Quarry Knowe, also known as the Green Room, is used for meetings and therapy sessions. It can accommodate up to 15 people.
- Creche Room - A creche run within this room can legally accommodate 6 children. Other uses of the space can accommodate more. The creche has an outside play area with a soft surface, accessible by patio doors.
Please note that any catering required for bookings in the Centre, must come from Teapots Café and should be arranged directly with café staff. More information about Teapots Café, along with catering options, can be found here.
