Activities & Groups
The Whiteinch Centre offers a large number of activities and courses to people in the local area. Most notably of these are our IT classes which are run during term time as part of the Centre’s Get With Whiteinch project and offer a variety of courses to students. See our News section for more information on upcoming classes or contact Ruth Bain at the Centre.
Our current activity brochure can be seen below, including contact details for most groups.
Other activities run in the Centre include the NC Health & Social Care course, delivered by Anniesland College; Adult Literacy and Numeracy run by Pathways to Progress and by Culture and Sport Glasgow and various courses from Glasgow West Regeneration Agency.
Besides running many activities inhouse, the Centre is used by more than 30 separate groups every week, running everything from karate and football to support groups and business meetings. See the list below for information about the different groups who use the Centre. Most activities are open to all – please contact the group leader for more information.
