Merry Christmas from all at the Whiteinch Centre!
All staff at the Centre and Teapots Cafe would like to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
The run-up to Christmas has been very busy for us. The local primary school held their nativity service and Christmas parties in the hall. The P4-7 girls from Revolution created this brilliant Nativity scene, with the help of our resident artist Sammy Mitchell. Sammy has also run our 6 week Christmas Crafts class. This lovely picture was produced by one of the students.
Planned activities for 2009 in the Whiteinch Centre include a six week beginner’s Spanish class, a short art course, the fantastic Activate community development course delivered by the University of Glasgow and parenting classes. Spaces are still available for all activities – for more information, please contact Ruth Bain on 0141 950 4434 or by email to rbain@whiteinchcentre.org.uk.
If there are any other activities you would like the Centre to offer in the New Year, please let us know and we will work on making it a reality.
